A 20th century black lacquer and parcel-gilt Chinoiserie side table, having a shaped demi-lune top decorated with cranes amidst pine boughs against a gilt ground, over a conforming single drawer with matching pictorial decoration and fitted with a yellow metal drop handle, raised on ring-turned legs with gilt collars united by a shaped undertier painted with pine branches, terminating in block and turned feet, light surface wear and minor scuffs commensurate with age and use.
