An early Victorian silver snuff box by Nathaniel Mills. Of rectangular form, the lid set with a polished moss agate panel above sides of engine-turned decoration, the front with a cast foliate garland thumbpiece, the base engraved with a vacant cartouche, and the interior gilt and hallmarked Birmingham 1841; length 8.2cm, weight 119.2g. With a crack to the agate along its length, some nibbling to this damage.
