A VICTORIAN SILVER EGG CRUET by Robert Hennell III, London 1860, modelled as a basket, the oval stand with simulated wickerwork sides and radiating woven panels within rope-twist borders, with an entwined rope-twist double loop handle over a plaited central support, fitted with four conforming egg cups, each with a rope-twist rim and raised on a woven knopped foot. 19.5cm long, 13.5cm wide, 20.3 troy ounces The marks are worn but legible. No dents or repairs. No personalisation or erasure. In very good condition.
