A 19th century Dutch silver spoon. Engraved 'Bertnam & Hamlione April 1880'. Stamped Dolphin mark. Together with a cased set of six George V hallmarked silver handled butter knives. Hallmarked year 1919, Sheffield. Sponsors mark for Yates Brothers. Both completed in a presentation box. Total weight approx. 172g. Note: A Dutch silver dolphin mark generally indicated a domestic silver item made between 1859-1893 that fell below the legal purity standard or contained base metal and plating.
