No longer availableAN IKAT AND SILK QUILTED PANEL, UZBEKISTAN, PROBABLY BOKHARA, LATE 19TH/EARLY 20TH CENTURY the central atlas silk ikat panel with large crimson roundels and yellow 'S' motifs on feathered aubergine panels on an ivory ground, within a quilted crimson border, approximately 252 x 216cm Condition Report: several splits to ikat, some wiht old tape glue marks, some with small patches, cobbled repairs, some watermarking and liquid stain approx 8 x 3cm, would benefit from some stabilisation, border faded - possibly fuchsine, some marks, printed cotton backing
