A FRENCH GILT BRONZE FIGURAL MANTEL CLOCK 19th Century, in the Louis XV taste, the circular white enamel dial with blue Roman numerals and an outer Arabic five-minute track, with pierced gilt hands within a beaded bezel, the twin train movement signed E Bernard, Paris , the drum case set within pierced acanthus and rocaille cresting issuing flowerbuds, flanked by two seated putti, one playing a flute, the other holding a bow, the shaped base cast with C-scrolls and rockwork, on scroll feet. 42cm high
