The circular enamelled dial with black Roman numerals, painted swan heads and scrolling decoration, on a blue and gilt ground, enclosing an 8 day movement striking on a bell, signed, and numbered "C. V. 1517" and "69", in a gilt bronze case with an arched top, painted panel of classical figures, another panel with similar decoration as the dial, flanked by scrolling acanthus and floral festoons, H.33.5 x W.37.5cm approx. Condition: Movement requires attention - not running and will not wind. Case with loose elements, missing finials, detached feet, etc. Key/keys included.
