An Early 20th Century Carltonware Bachelor Tea Service An Early 20th Century Carltonware Bachelor Tea Service , circa 1930s, comprising a teapot, cup and saucer, cream jug, sugar bowl and side plate, all hand-decorated in enamels over a transferred scene of figures dancing the Pasodoble in a park or garden above a mustard yellow ground with black rims and handles, bearing black printed factory backstamp to bases. Teapot 18cm long A couple of flea bites to saucer rim, saucer and cup crazed, the interior catch to the teapot lid may have been reattached, sporadic tiny flecks of scene decoration enamel lost, again some tiny yellow ground flecks lost, some rubbing to black enamel rims throughout, no damages, chips or cracks, images added.
