HENRY DASSON A FINE LATE 19TH CENTURY MAHOGANY PURPLEHEART ORMOLU MOUNTED SIDE TABLE having a parquetry inlaid rectangular top enclosed by a pierced brass gallery, fitted with a frieze drawer and raised on tapering square legs with foliate mounts and brass castors; purchased at the Blenheim Palace sale, Lyon and Turnbull, set 495. 74cm high, 69cm wide, 47cm deep The table is in very good condition, with no damage or signs of repair. All the ormolu mounts are present and made to a high standard. The top has been cleaned and re-polished. No broken legs. The casters, lock, and handles are original; the key works. The provenance is very good, having come from Blenheim Palace.
