An Edwardian oak table top revolving bookcase, the square top featuring prominent medullary rays and a moulded edge over a single tier with four open compartments. The structure is supported by a central column and divided by three vertical slats to each side, all mounted upon a rotating cross-frame base mechanism. The piece is constructed from quarter-sawn oak, displaying a characteristic grain pattern and finished in a warm medium oak tone. There are no visible maker's marks or stamps to the exposed surfaces.
