An early 20th Century reproduction mahoganysingle pedestal kneehole desk, the rectangular top featuring an inset burgundy leather writing surface with gold-tooled borders. The desk is configured with a long frieze drawer above the kneehole and a pedestal of four graduated drawers to the right, all fitted with decorative brass-effect swan-neck drop handles on batwing-shaped backplates. Each drawer features a central keyhole. The piece is supported by a turned and tapered leg to the left and the pedestal base to the right, all terminating in pot castors.
