An early 20th century oak bureau on stand, the upper section with a slanted fall-front opening to reveal a writing surface, above two long drawers with applied geometric mitred moldings and white ceramic knob handles, a central brass escutcheon to the fall-front, the separate stand having four barley-twist supports joined by a shaped low-set stretcher, raised on block feet. There are no visible maker's marks or signatures on the exterior of the piece. width approx. 77cm
