AN ARTS & CRAFTS OAK GALLERY BACKED SIDE TABLE BY BLADONS OF HULL (BON MARCHE), CIRCA 1900 Fitted three frieze drawers one bearing an ivorine trade label 88cm high, 95cm wide, 50cm deep Bladons of Hull trading under the trade name of 'Bon Marche' from 1884, founded to be a high end drapers and later supplying furniture. Their premises was destroyed along with plenty of buildings in Hull by heavy bombing in WW2. Provenance: Private property in Hampshire With wear, marks, knocks and scratches commensurate with age and use Some old chips, splits, and losses, including to the base of one of the drawers Handles and locks appear to be original Keys not present, drawers are open
