A Victorian walnut low-seated nursing chair, the high padded back flanked by turned uprights terminating in finials, below an openwork scroll and shell carved cresting rail, the wide overstuffed seat upholstered in pale green and cream patterned figured damask with applied rope-twist braid border, raised on turned ring-carved front legs and swept rear legs, terminating in brass castors.
