A traditional William and Mary style oak rocking armchair, the tall rectangular back having a central hand-woven cane panel in the bergere style within decoratively turned and blocked stiles, surmounted by a shaped crest rail. The rectangular seat is fitted with a matching woven cane panel, flanked by scroll-shaped arms on curved supports.
