A SET OF EIGHT WALNUT DINING CHAIRS attributed to Waring & Gillow, early 20th Century, in the Queen Anne taste, comprising a pair of armchairs and six single chairs, each with a shaped cresting rail above a vase shaped splat veneered in burr walnut within a hooped back, the drop in seat upholstered in a salmon ground floral damask, upon cabriole front legs carved at the knee with acanthus and scrolls and terminating in scroll feet, the rear legs swept, the armchairs with open scroll arms upon downswept supports.
