A late 19th-century Victorian country pine two-piece kitchen dresser or bookcase cabinet, having a warm finish. The upper section features a flared cornice over two glazed doors, each with a distinctive arched top light and a straight lower light separated by a horizontal glazing bar, enclosing three fixed wooden shelves. The base unit comprises a pair of frieze drawers, each fitted with decorative brass-toned drop handles on rectangular backplates featuring a geometric fretwork design, over a two-door cupboard with small brass knobs and a single interior shelf.
