A 19th Century pine and iron-bound travelling trunk, the rectangular hinged flat top opening to a vacant interior fitted with a later safety chain, the dovetailed pine case reinforced with heavy strap iron bandings and corner brackets, fitted with an iron hasp, central keyhole and brass keeper plate, all raised on a moulded plinth base, retaining historic ochre-stained painted finish.
