This 19th-century side table features a rectangular top with rounded corners, finished in black lacquer. The surface is decorated with hand-painted Chinoiserie motifs depicting various birds in flight and perched among chrysanthemum-style flowers and foliage, rendered in tones of gold, white, and muted green. The top is supported by a single turned and baluster-shaped pedestal.
